BBC Announces New Thriller ‘The Guest’ with Eve Myles and Gabrielle Creevy

BBC One

The BBC has commissioned The Guest, a new thriller from writer Matthew Barry (Industry, Men Up) and Quay Street Productions. Starring Eve Myles (Keeping Faith, Hijack) and Gabrielle Creevy (In My Skin, Three Women), the series is slated to air on BBC iPlayer and BBC One. Filming begins soon in Cardiff, with the story set to explore the intriguing relationship between a businesswoman, Fran, and her cleaner, Ria.

The plot follows Ria, who, after starting work for Fran, becomes drawn to her employer’s confident and self-assured nature. As their friendship grows, Fran’s guidance leads Ria to make life-altering decisions. But a shocking incident ties the two women together, setting off a series of events fuelled by secrets and manipulation.
