BBC One’s The Traitors Series 2 – Everything We Know So Far

The Traitors series 2 returns to the Scottish Highlands with Claudia Winkleman and 22 new contestants in January 2024. The show promises epic challenges and tense round tables.

The Traitors series 2: A Closer Look

The Traitors series 2 is set to return to BBC One and BBC iPlayer on Wednesday 3 January at 9pm, with episodes 2 and 3 available on iPlayer immediately after. The show will continue to air on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday nights. Hosted by Claudia Winkleman, the new season will feature 22 strangers competing at a castle in the Scottish Highlands for the chance to win up to £120,000.

According to Winkleman, the new season will showcase epic missions that will challenge the contestants and offer them a chance to work together as a team. The scale of the challenges this year is described as beyond, with one round table in particular leaving the host shaking.

In addition to the main series, BBC is introducing a visualized podcast called The Traitors: Uncloaked, hosted by stand up comedian Ed Gamble. The podcast will provide fans with exclusive access to behind-the-scenes content, including interviews with banished and “murdered” contestants, as well as bonus unseen footage. The podcast will be available on BBC Two, BBC iPlayer, and BBC Sounds.
