As the US presidential election fever peaks, BBC One’s flagship debate show, Question Time, is crossing the Atlantic to host a special episode in the hotly contested state of Pennsylvania. The program aims to give American voters a voice to challenge politicians and pundits on pivotal election issues, while providing UK viewers with an insider’s view of US politics.
Hosted by Fiona Bruce, the debate will be recorded at the historic National Constitution Center in Philadelphia, with a live American audience. The panel, featuring a mix of politicians and prominent commentators, will tackle topics like the economy, immigration, abortion, and foreign policy, as well as the candidates’ personalities and platforms.
The show will be taped on October 9 and aired on October 10 at 9 pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer, with panelists to be announced.
To reach US audiences, BBC is teaming up with relevant media partners. The program will air on the BBC News channel, BBC News YouTube channel, and World Service English. American viewers can tune in via cable TV, livestream on the revamped BBC.com and BBC app, and on major free ad-supported streaming television (FAST) platforms. Additionally, the special will be accessible to Britbox subscribers in North America and other regions.
Viewers can catch the live broadcast on the BBC North America news pages.
