BBC Studios Appoints Robi Stanton as Top Executive for Australia & NZ

BBC Studios has named Robi Stanton as its new Executive Vice President & General Manager of Global Media and Streaming for Australia and New Zealand, starting March 26th. She will oversee content sales, channels, streaming, and advertising sales in the region.

Here’s the Lowdown: Robi Stanton, currently Commercial Director for CNN International, brings over 25 years of experience in distribution, commercial strategy, marketing, and advertising sales to BBC Studios. She has previously held roles at Warner Bros. Discovery and Turner International.

What This Means Now: Stanton will be responsible for driving growth across all of BBC Studios’ media operations in Australia and New Zealand. This includes managing existing partnerships and exploring new opportunities in the rapidly changing media landscape. She will report to Nick Percy, President of Global Markets.
