There will be an intense summer on the wards of Holby City as BBC’s long-running medical drama, “Casualty,” unveils its gripping summer story arc, “Storm Damage.”

From 15 June, viewers can catch the action-packed episodes on BBC iPlayer and BBC Two, produced by BBC Studios Drama. This season, secrets will be exposed, relationships tested, and the staff of Holby’s ED will face both personal and professional challenges that will change their lives forever.

Barney Walsh’s character, Cam, and Siobhan (Melanie Hill) will find themselves in a perilous situation, facing a city-wide flash flood that will leave them traumatised. As Cam struggles with the aftermath, he’ll be forced to confront his past and question his future in the chaotic world of emergency medicine.

There’s also romance in the air for Stevie (Elinor Lawless) and firefighter Rich (Michael Keogh), but their connection may be more complicated than it seems. Iain (Michael Stevenson), meanwhile, embraces his role as a father figure to Luka (Tom Mulheron), but their newfound family dynamic will be threatened, pushing Iain to his limits.

Elsewhere, Dylan (Will Beck) steps up in Patrick’s absence, but a clash with new Psych Liaison Nurse Sophia (Kellie Shirley) leaves him seeking friendship rather than another adversary. Jacob (Charles Venn) and Jan (Di Botcher) juggle their demanding careers with caring for Jacob’s grandson, Carter, but the search for Carter’s father adds further tension.
