The BBC has announced its coverage plans and presenting line-up for Glastonbury 2024, offering festival-goers and viewers at home an extensive and accessible Glastonbury experience.
TV Coverage
The BBC will broadcast live headline sets, festival highlights, and interviews across BBC Two, BBC Three, and BBC Four, as well as on four Red Button streams. Headliners include Dua Lipa, Coldplay, SZA, and Shania Twain, with performances by Idles, Disclosure, The National, Jungle, Jessie Ware, Jamie xx, Gossip, and many more.
Radio Coverage
BBC Radio will deliver over 85 hours of live broadcasts across its stations, including Radio 1, Radio 1Xtra, Radio 2, 6 Music, Asian Network, and Radio 4. 6 Music will be the radio home of the festival, with all-day coverage from 21-25 June.
iPlayer and BBC Sounds
BBC iPlayer will offer an immersive experience, allowing users to navigate between live streams from the Pyramid, Other, West Holts, Woodsies, and Park stages. Performances from the Pyramid Stage will be available in Ultra HD and British Sign Language. BBC Sounds will feature new podcasts, collections, and playlists, including “Glastonbury Top 10,” hosted by Clara Amfo, Jack Saunders, and Jo Whiley.
Glastonbury Channel and Webcam
The dedicated Glastonbury Channel on BBC iPlayer will provide continuous live streams, performance highlights, and interviews from 23-25 June. The BBC Glastonbury Webcam will offer a unique perspective with a live stream from sunrise on 19 June, showcasing the festival’s build-up.
