BBC’s New Drama “Lost Boys & Fairies” First-Look Pics

The BBC has released the first images from the upcoming drama series Lost Boys & Fairies. The photos feature cast members Sion Daniel Young, Fra Fee, Elizabeth Berrington, Sharon D Clarke, and Maria Doyle Kennedy.
Lost Boys & Fairies follows the story of Gabriel, a singer and artist, and his partner Andy, as they embark on a journey towards adoption. The lead roles are portrayed by Sion Daniel Young and Fra Fee. The series is created and written by Welsh writer Daf James, directed by James Kent, and produced by Duck Soup Films for BBC One, BBC Cymru Wales, and BBC iPlayer.

Filmed in and around Cardiff, the series showcases Gabriel’s performances at the queer club-space ‘Neverland’ as he grapples with his childhood memories and strives to mend his relationship with his father before becoming a parent.

Lost Boys & Fairies is Duck Soup Films’ first commission for BBC One and BBC iPlayer. It was developed as part of BBC Writersroom’s TV Drama Writers’ Programme in 2019. The series received support from the BBC’s Small Indie Fund initiative and Creative Wales, the Welsh Government agency supporting the growth of the Creative Sectors. Distribution will be handled by All3Media International.
