A&E’s “Beer Budget Reno,” hosted by the resourceful Kristen Coutts, takes on another budget-conscious renovation this Saturday. In “Project Sister Sister,” Coutts comes to the aid of Jaime, whose house is stuck in a ’70s time warp – shag carpet and all. Adding a slight twist to the story: Jaime’s sister, Alex, lives just blocks away in a house with the exact same layout, and both dwellings bear the unmistakable design hallmarks of that bygone era.
Coutts, whose specialty is working wonders with limited resources, takes up the challenge, employing her arsenal of cost-saving tricks to transform Jaime’s outdated space into something fresh and functional. Can she pull off a stylish upgrade without breaking the bank?
“Beer Budget Reno: Project Sister Sister” premieres Saturday, May 3 at 12:00 PM ET on A&E.
