Belle Collective “Marie/Antoinette” (OWN, Friday, November 22, 2024)

Belle Collective New Season Key Art

The Belle Collective, OWN’s reality series chronicling the lives of Black female entrepreneurs in Jackson, Mississippi, returns with an episode that could politely be described as “turbulent.” “Marie/Antoinette,” the fourth episode of Season 5, sets the stage for a series of confrontations and revelations that threaten to upend the Belles’ carefully constructed world of baby showers and business ventures.

First up, a seemingly innocuous baby shower hosted by Selena for Star quickly spirals into a battleground when unresolved tensions between Sogucci and JJ erupt. Anyone familiar with the pair’s history knows their disagreements tend towards the operatic, so expect a confrontation that’s both loud and pointed.

Meanwhile, Lateshia’s well-intentioned attempt to foster unity among the Belles via an improv class goes spectacularly awry. The arrival of unanticipated guests transforms the session from a lighthearted exercise into a free-for-all of real-life drama. Let’s just say that some people are better at improvising apologies than they are at, you know, actual improv.

And as if the improv implosion weren’t enough, Lateshia later unleashes a significant revelation on Glen, the exact nature of which remains tantalizingly under wraps, but given the Belles’ track record, it’s safe to assume it’s not a casual announcement about switching coffee brands.

Tune in to OWN on Friday, November 22, 2024, to witness the chaos unfold in “Marie/Antoinette.”
