OWN’s gamble on “Belle Collective” has paid off handsomely. The network has greenlit another season of the reality series following a significant ratings upswing. This season, the show has seen a 25% increase in the coveted Women 25-54 demographic and reigns as the #2 cable program on Friday nights among African-American Women 25-54.
This renewal news arrives just as the current season heads into a four-part reunion, promising fireworks. The specials, airing Fridays at 8 PM ET/PT on OWN, kick off with “The Dee Is No Longer Silent” on December 13. Subsequent installments include “Welcome to Taste, Try the Beef” on December 20, “Reunited and It Feels…Good?” on December 27, and the culminating “State of the Reunion” on January 3.
Viewers can anticipate a flurry of confrontations. Sophia and Selena are set for a clash, while Latrice and Cliff’s ongoing tensions will take center stage. Dee appears ready to make a decisive stand, and JJ and Lateshia are on a collision course.
Beyond the interpersonal drama, the reunion specials will also offer glimpses into the business ventures of the Belles, including dual grand openings hosted by the Rogers. Marie will address the fallout from a violent incident, and the Belle men will finally have their say. Long-simmering issues between Marie and Latrice might see some resolution, while JJ will confront Selena. Latrice will also reveal the aftermath of an altercation at Taste, and Lateshia and Aikisha will discuss the future of the Collective itself.
The “Belle Collective” ensemble cast features Tambra Cheri, Marie Hamilton-Abston, Aikisha Holly-Colon, Lateshia Pearson, Latrice Rogers, Sophia O. Williams (“Sogucci”), and Selena Johnson. The series chronicles their lives as Black female entrepreneurs in Jackson, Mississippi.
Carlos King, Rajah Ahmed, Brent Nisbett, and Jon Collins serve as executive producers for Kingdom Reign Entertainment.
