The hunt for baby Lily intensifies in this week’s episode of “Bergerac.” Detective Jim Bergerac (Damien Molony) is on a mission to bring the kidnapped infant home, but his relentless pursuit of justice takes a toll on his relationships, pushing allies to their limits.
In “Play Nicely,” Bergerac’s determination leads to a clash with mother-in-law Charlie Hungerford (Zoe Wanamaker) concerning his daughter Kim’s well-being. He finds himself at odds with John Blakeley, a confrontation that further complicates the already fraught investigation.
The question is whether his single-mindedness will help or hinder the investigation as the lines blur between right and wrong.
The series is a reboot of the classic 1980’s John Nettles starring series of the same name. Catch “Bergerac: Play Nicely” this Sunday, 11 May at 8:31 PM AEST on ABC TV.
