Monday, June 23, brings a potent mix of shifting alliances and open warfare to Beyond the Gates, as Fairmont Crest’s high society continues its collision course. The latest chapter drops Eva Thomas (Ambyr Michelle) into a tight spot, only for her to find an unlikely source of help just when she needs it most.
Meanwhile, Leslie Thomas (Trisha Mann-Grant) is playing a dangerous game. With Jacob Hawthorne (Jibre Hordges) and Katherine “Kat” Richardson (Colby Muhammad) poking into her connection to Laura’s car crash, Leslie hits them with a bold proposition. What she’s putting on the table remains to be seen, but it’s clear she’s aiming to stop their snooping cold.
The real fireworks, though, look to arrive courtesy of Bill Hamilton (Timon Durrett) and Vernon Dupree (Clifton Davis). These two are set for a fierce face-off over Martin’s secret and the ongoing blackmail threat from Kenneth. Vernon is holding Bill accountable for Kenneth’s sudden reappearance and the whole scheme, putting their strained relationship under even more strain. Bill, with his history of handling “favors,” likely has a deeper role to play in all of this.
