“Beyond the Gates” Tuesday May 20 Spoilers

Beyond the Gates Key Art

“Beyond the Gates” cranks up the drama this Tuesday with a potent cocktail of fractured relationships, resurfacing secrets, and good old-fashioned family turmoil.

Eva Thomas, perpetually caught in the crosshairs of suspicion, turns to the one person who’s always in her corner: her dad, Ted Richardson. With the shadow of Laura Peterson’s accident still looming large, and that incriminating recording of Leslie suggesting Eva was responsible hanging over her head, Eva needs all the support she can get. Will Ted’s belief in his daughter be enough to shield her from Jacob Hawthorne’s increasingly pointed investigation?

Meanwhile, the fallout from Ashley Morgan and Derek Baldwin’s explosive argument continues. Andre Richardson, nursing his wounded pride after being rebuffed by Dani Dupree, steps in to offer Ashley a shoulder to cry on. Could this be the start of a new romance, or just a temporary alliance of the recently heartbroken?

Plus, Anita Dupree’s past comes back to haunt her. The arrival of Tracy, a former bandmate from Anita’s days with the Articulettes girl group, threatens to stir up old rivalries and expose long-buried secrets. Just what kind of trouble did these ladies get into back in the day?

Will Leslie throw her own daughter under the bus to save herself? Will Jacob finally bring Eva in for questioning? And will Ashley and Andre find solace in each other’s arms?
