Wednesday’s “Beyond the Gates” is packed with enough suspicion, infidelity, and scheming to make your head spin. Loyalties will be tested, secrets will be exposed, and at least one character might want to consider investing in a good lawyer.
First up, the Richardson family better watch their backs. Leslie’s plot against them, with daughter Eva as her inside woman, continues to unfold. But Leslie’s growing concerned that Eva’s bond with her biological father, Ted, might compromise their carefully laid plans. Eva’s supposed to be the Richardsons’ temporary assistant, but her real job is to help her mom with her revenge scheme. How long can she keep up the charade before her loyalties are truly tested?
Meanwhile, Ashley and Andre’s clandestine rendezvous is about to become very public knowledge. When Ashley’s boyfriend, Derek, stumbles upon them in a, shall we say, compromising position, sparks are sure to fly.
And if you thought things couldn’t get any worse, Joey Armstrong is about to up the ante on his bad-boy persona. He invites Doug to a mysterious backroom game, but something tells us Joey’s intentions are far from innocent. Doug might want to think twice before accepting that invitation.
Finally, Vanessa’s tangled web of deceit is starting to unravel. Her affair with her “personal trainer,” Diego, takes a dangerous turn when Diego starts showing signs of possessiveness. Does he know about Vanessa’s other… extracurricular activities? If he finds out she’s also involved with Doug the situation in Fairmont Crest could escalate.
Plus, Smitty and Martin seem to reach some kind of agreement, but their domestic bliss might be short-lived.
