The sleepy Devon village of Shipton Abbott is about to get a dose of mythical mayhem in this week’s “Beyond Paradise.” As Humphrey and Martha embark on a new chapter, fostering young Rosie, a mysterious figure dressed as the legendary Cornman is stirring up trouble in the countryside.
Farmers Stella and George Ellis find themselves the targets of a determined saboteur. Their milk is ruined, their hay is set ablaze, and their livelihood is threatened. It’s up to Humphrey to unmask the culprit before they lose everything. Is the Cornman a real threat, or is someone using the legend to mask their true intentions?
Meanwhile, back in the world of the slightly less dramatic, Martha and Humphrey navigate the joys and challenges of fostering, with Rosie starting her first day at Shipton Abbott Primary. And Anne, in a move that suggests a newfound embrace of life, makes a rather bold decision.
