From miniature vessels to antique playthings, this Monday’s The Bidding Room offers a diverse collection of curiosities. Winston hopes to float a good deal for his trio of model boats, acquired from a local museum. Sandy, inspired by the classic “Old Woman in a Shoe,” brings in a collection of Georgian peg dolls, aiming to fund a gift for her goddaughter.

Elsewhere, Elizabeth presents a silver salver and inkwell with a history stretching back over 150 years, while Tyrone hopes the dealers will strike a chord with his street organ, a relic from lockdown entertainment in a care home. Adding to the eclectic mix, Dorcas and John present a Chinese sideboard bearing a distinctive burn mark, a story waiting to be told.

With expert Simon Bower providing valuations and Nigel Havers presiding over the proceedings, the stage is set for another round of spirited negotiations between sellers and dealers Ian, Viki, Jacqui, Jo, and JB. Set against the backdrop of a Yorkshire countryside emporium, The Bidding Room continues to provide a charming home for the world of antiques and collectibles.

The Bidding Room airs Mondays at 3:45 PM on BBC One.
