Yes, “The Big Fat Quiz of the Year 2024” is back on Channel 4, and this time, Carr’s bringing a fresh batch of celebrity victims, I mean, panelists, along for the ride.
Joining the festivities are Richard Ayoade, Katherine Ryan, Rob Beckett, Judi Love, Chris McCausland, and Maisie Adam. Will they be able to decipher the year’s events better than your average Twitter doomscroller? Considering some of 2024’s headlines, that’s a low bar. And, because kids say the darndest things, the students of Mitchell Brook Primary School will also be contributing their own queries, reminding us that the younger generation is always watching…and judging.
If the past is any indication, expect rapid-fire wit, questionable answers, and just enough factual information to make you feel slightly less guilty about spending your evening watching celebrities try to remember what happened in January. So, put down that self-help book, cancel your New Year’s resolution planning session, and settle in for a night of pure, unadulterated year-end mockery. It’s the perfect way to cleanse your palate before diving headfirst into the fresh hell that will undoubtedly be 2025.
