Big Mood Episode 3, April 4, 2024, Channel 4
Big Mood, the new comedy series starring Nicola Coughlan and Lydia West, returns with an insightful episode that examines the complexities of mental health and its impact on relationships. In this instalment, titled “Deeper,” the decade-long friendship between Maggie and Eddie is put to the test.
The episode begins with Maggie, played by Nicola Coughlan, throwing her first-ever dinner party. But this isn’t your typical social gathering—Maggie has an ulterior motive. She aims to prove to her new therapist, played by Sally Phillips, and her agent, played by Rebecca Lowman, that she’s mentally stable. It’s a challenging endeavour, given her recent bipolar diagnosis.
Meanwhile, Eddie, portrayed by Lydia West, revisits an old flame, hoping to find a solution to her problems, but Eddie questions whether their decade-long friendship is truly in their best interests.
The episode also features an appearance by Joanna Page, who plays herself. The talented cast also Eamon Farren, Luke Fetherston, and Niamh Cusack.
Big Mood Episode 3 airs Thursday April 4, 2024, at 10.00pm on Channel 4.
