ESPN’s NFL coverage for the upcoming season will feature a prominent new contributor in Bill Belichick, the eight-time Super Bowl champion coach. Belichick will appear on multiple ESPN platforms through separate agreements with Omaha Productions and The Pat McAfee Show.
Belichick will team up with Peyton Manning for a new multiplatform series, The Breakdown with Peyton and Belichick, and make regular appearances on both The Pat McAfee Show and Monday Night Football with Peyton and Eli.
The Breakdown with Peyton and Belichick will see the two football legends break down upcoming Monday Night Football matchups, offering schematic analyses of the teams and players. The 30-minute show will release 11 episodes, corresponding to the 11 Monday Night Football games, with the first episode premiering on September 6, 2024, ahead of the Week 1 game between the New York Jets and the San Francisco 49ers.
Belichick will also be a featured guest on Monday Night Football with Peyton and Eli, joining the Emmy Award-winning alternate telecast for the first half of each game. The remaining halves will feature additional guests from sports and pop culture.
Additionally, Belichick will appear on The Pat McAfee Show every Monday of the NFL season, offering insights, reactions, and discussions on the latest NFL headlines and storylines. His first appearance on the show was during the fifth annual Draft Spectacular, which attracted record viewership.
The Breakdown with Peyton and Belichick is produced in conjunction with NFL Films.
