BINGE has released the trailer for “Mr. Throwback,” a new mockumentary series starring NBA legend Stephen Curry in his first scripted television role. The series follows a down-on-his-luck memorabilia dealer who seeks redemption by reuniting with his sixth-grade teammate, Stephen Curry.
The trailer offers a glimpse into the comedic and light-hearted narrative, showcasing Curry’s acting debut alongside talented co-stars Adam Pally, Ego Nwodim, and Ayden Mayeri. The series also features recurring guest stars Tracy Letts, Layla Scalisi, Tien Tran, and Rich Sommer.
“Mr. Throwback” is executive produced by David Caspe, Matthew Libman, and Daniel Libman, with Curry and Pally also serving as executive producers. The series is produced by Unanimous Media, with David Wain directing episodes 101-106. “Mr. Throwback” premieres on BINGE on August 8, with subsequent availability on FOX8 and FOXTEL On Demand.
