Stars including Donnie Wahlberg, Marisa Ramirez, and Vanessa Ray took to social media to share heartfelt messages and bid farewell to their iconic characters.

Donnie Wahlberg, who portrayed Detective Danny Reagan since the show’s inception, expressed his gratitude on Instagram, thanking the cast, crew, and fans for the “special Blue Bloods journey.” He reflected on the experience, acknowledging his appreciation for every moment. Wahlberg’s post included a video of him exiting a tour bus, captioned, “Pulling Up from Magic Summer Tour to film Daniel Reagan’s ‘last tour’.”

His longtime co-star, Marisa Ramirez, who played Detective Maria Baez since Season 3, also shared her emotions on Instagram. She posted a photo of a homemade sticker shield made by her daughter.

Vanessa Ray, portraying Officer Eddie Janko-Reagan for 11 seasons, offered a behind-the-scenes glimpse on her Instagram story. She posted a heartfelt group hug photo with Wahlberg and Ramirez, captioned, “I love them so much it hurts.”

The final days on set were filled with bittersweet emotions, with the team performing a Get Down Dance Challenge to lighten the mood. While the series is concluding, there is a hint of hope for fans. Paramount Global co-CEO Brian Robbins teased the possibility of “franchise extensions,” suggesting potential spin-offs to continue the show’s legacy.
