‘The BMF Documentary: Blowing Money Fast’ Renewed For Season 2 At STARZ With Terry “Southwest T” Flenory Telling His Side

The BMF Documentary: Blowing Money Fast

STARZ is doubling down on the BMF franchise with a second season of The BMF Documentary: Blowing Money Fast, the unscripted companion piece to its hit scripted series. The six-episode follow-up will spotlight the long-silent co-founder of the Black Mafia Family, Terry “Southwest T” Flenory, as he finally steps in front of the camera to tell his version of events.

The new season, executive produced by Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson and Shan Nicholson—who also returns as showrunner—drops an extended preview on Friday, June 6 via the STARZ app, timed to the same-day premiere of BMF Season 4. It’s a coordinated play to drive deeper engagement across the expanding BMF IP.

Produced by Jigsaw Productions and G-Unit Film & Television, the docuseries charts the meteoric rise and collapse of the real-life BMF drug empire and its cultural footprint, particularly in hip-hop. While Season 1 leaned heavily on archival footage and law enforcement accounts, Season 2 pivots with direct access—anchored by Flenory’s exclusive testimony and a new wave of firsthand voices.

It’s another strategic content build-out for STARZ, which continues to bet on BMF as a multi-platform franchise with long-term upside.
