On Monday’s The Bold and the Beautiful, Bill Spencer, never one for subtlety, decides to harbor a fugitive – Luna Nozawa – under house arrest in his palatial mansion. Because nothing screams “low profile” like hiding a wanted woman in a house where Will and Electra Forrester regularly drop by. What could possibly go wrong? Oh, right, Luna also develops a sudden infatuation with Will, which is sure to complicate matters further. It’s the kind of messy entanglement that keeps the Spencer family reunions lively.
Meanwhile, Ridge Forrester and Brooke Logan’s relationship finally implodes. Ridge, perpetually skeptical of Brooke’s motives, refuses to accept her explanation for her pursuit of the CEO position. It’s a familiar pattern for this on-again, off-again couple, but this time, it seems like a permanent split. Brooke, predictably, seeks solace in Hope’s arms.
As Brooke licks her wounds, Ridge inevitably gravitates back towards Taylor Hayes. It’s a storyline as predictable as the sunrise, yet somehow, “The Bold and the Beautiful” manages to wring fresh drama out of this tired love triangle.
