A&E’s “Booked: First Day In” returns with more raw, unfiltered reality, taking a look at the booking process across America. From drug charges and stolen vehicles to the consequences of unpaid child support, “Baller Baby Daddy” takes viewers on a ride-along with law enforcement in Virginia Beach, Modesto, and Flagler County.
This episode follows several individuals as they’re brought into the system. We meet an addict and her fiancé facing drug charges, a man caught driving his wife’s stolen car, and a father arrested for neglecting his child support obligations. “Booked” doesn’t shy away from the uncomfortable realities of the justice system. Viewers are given near total access, witnessing the often chaotic and emotionally fraught process of booking and incarceration.
While the crimes range from petty offenses to more serious charges, the show focuses on the human stories behind the arrests. It seeks to illuminate the choices that led these people to this point, giving context to the often harsh realities they now face. “Booked: First Day In” airs Wednesday, May 14th at 10:00 PM ET on A&E.
