A&E’s “Booked: First Day In” returns Wednesday with another glimpse into the often chaotic world of arrests and bookings. This episode, “Crime in Cars,” takes us on a ride-along with law enforcement, from routine traffic stops to high-stakes SWAT operations. Buckle up, because this one looks like a wild ride.
The episode features several stories. Viewers follow the booking process of a man pulled over for his second DUI, the consequences now hitting him hard. Then there’s a young, first-time offender facing charges for reckless driving, the fear and uncertainty etched on their face. And in a more intense turn, cameras roll as a SWAT team apprehends a woman with four outstanding warrants. “Crime in Cars” also takes a lighter detour to Texas, where two buddies find themselves on the wrong side of the law for public intoxication and disorderly conduct.
“Booked: First Day In” is a look at the human side of the justice system, the anxieties, regrets, and occasional flashes of dark humor that play out within those stark walls. Tune in to A&E this Wednesday, May 21 at 10:00 PM ET for “Crime in Cars.”
