A&E’s “Booked: First Day In” returns for its third season this Wednesday, offering another unfiltered look at the often chaotic world of law enforcement and the booking process. The premiere episode, “Sugar Daddy Bailout,” takes viewers to Mesa County, Hancock County, and Modesto, where the cameras capture a variety of arrests and the stories behind them.
In Mesa County, a woman with outstanding warrants tries to use her mother’s medical emergency as a way to avoid police. Meanwhile, in Hancock County, a modern-day Bonnie and Clyde are apprehended for using a counterfeit check to make bail – a move that’s sure to land them in even more trouble. And in Modesto, a retail theft sting nets two young women whose brazen attitudes add extra spice to their booking experience.
With the arrestees’ permission, each story unfolds, giving viewers a look into the events that led to their arrest and the often bizarre and tense atmosphere of a jail’s booking area. “Booked: First Day In” premieres Wednesday, March 19th at 10:00 PM ET on A&E.
