The series ‘Bosch: Legacy’, a continuation of ‘Bosch,’ will conclude with its third season, premiering in March 2025. The show, based on Michael Connelly’s Harry Bosch novels, has been a staple on streaming platforms since its debut on Prime Video in February 2014.
Michael Connelly, the author of the original novels, announced the show’s conclusion on Instagram on September 6. The final season will stream simultaneously on Prime Video and Freevee.
The third season introduces Renée Ballard, played by Maggie Q, who will also star in a planned spinoff series. Ballard will make her debut in the final season, alongside Titus Welliver’s Harry Bosch, setting the stage for the spinoff. ‘Bosch’ had a remarkable seven-season run on Prime Video before becoming ‘Legacy’ on Freevee in 2022.
Welliver will reprise his role as Harry Bosch for the final season, with other returning cast members yet to be officially announced.
The season is based on Connelly’s novels “Desert Star” (2022) and “The Black Ice” (1993). It will explore a murder investigation that reveals dangerous secrets and a family’s disappearance.
