“Bradley & Barney Walsh: Breaking Dad” returns to ITV1 this Tuesday and this time, the father-son duo’s travels take them to the Land of the Rising Sun, where their driving skills – or lack thereof – face the ultimate test in a real-life “Tokyo Drift” experience.
“Tokyo to Gifu,” sees the pair swap the neon lights of Tokyo for the more tranquil Gifu prefecture. Along the way, they’ll encounter a rather eccentric Japanese record-breaker (because, of course, they will) and engage in a, shall we say, unique walnut-cracking challenge involving their bottoms. You’ll have to tune in to see who emerges victorious in that contest.
As usual, Barney seems determined to inject a bit of zen into his dad’s life, a task that, given Brad’s penchant for mild panic, presents its own set of comedic possibilities. And to cap it all off, there’s a stomach-churning bungee jump awaiting Brad, perhaps as a form of enforced relaxation? One can only speculate. This marks the second episode of the six-part season. “Bradley & Barney Walsh: Breaking Dad” airs Tuesday, April 8 at 8:00 PM on ITV1.
