BritBox Announces Premiere Date for UK Thriller ‘Passenger’

Passenger

BritBox International’s upcoming Original limited series, Passenger, will premiere on Thursday, October 17, with the first two episodes available to stream at 9:00 p.m. ET. The six-part mystery series, written by actor and debut screenwriter Andrew Buchan, explores a small Northern town, Chadder Vale, and the strange and inexplicable crimes that disrupt its close-knit community.

The story follows former Met Police Detective Riya Ajunwa, portrayed by Wunmi Mosaku, who investigates the disappearance of local girl Katie Wells, played by Rowan Robinson. When Katie mysteriously reappears, seemingly unharmed, the town quickly returns to normal, but Riya, an outsider, is convinced that something is amiss. As strange events and shocking crimes take place, the residents of Chadder Vale resort to blame outside influences, unwilling to confront their fears and the unknown.
