BritBox has announced the premiere of the highly anticipated second season of the crime drama Sherwood, set to debut on the streaming platform on 14 November in the US and Canada. The series is written by Olivier Award-winning writer James Graham.

The first season of Sherwood was well-received by viewers in the UK, and the new season builds upon its success.
Set in the present day, the story introduces new characters and families entangled with the Sparrows, against the backdrop of a proposed mine in Nottingham, which brings economic promises and unwelcome reminders of the past.
