BritBox July 2024 Lineup, The Responder Series 2, Grace & More

The Responder Series 2

BritBox, the streaming home of British TV in the U.S. and Canada, has announced its July 2024 schedule, offering a compelling mix of new originals and classic British favorites.

The highlight of the month is the return of the multi-BAFTA-nominated The Responder, starring Martin Freeman, who won an International Emmy for his performance in the first season. The series offers a brutally realistic portrayal of the life of a night officer, with Freeman’s character, Chris Carson, struggling to cope with the trauma of the job.

Also joining the lineup is a new season of the hit detective drama Grace, based on Peter James’ bestselling crime novels. John Simm returns as tenacious Detective Superintendent Roy Grace, investigating complex cases, including “Dead Man’s Time” and “Want You Dead.”
