ABOUT THE BRUISER SOUNDTRACK
The score by Robert Ouyang Rusli is dark and foreboding, with eerie flute melodies set against ominous synths, sweeping strings, and pounding timpani. An unusual blend of rattling Indonesian bamboo tubes (Angklung) and distorted found sound punctuate the score’s throbbing pull, making for a soundscape that is at once dreamy and frightening. On 2/24, Hollywood Records will release the film’s original score to digital streaming services.
