Born Youree Dell Harris, she won a nationwide audience with her distinctive persona and accent on the Psychic Readers Network, a popular telephone hotline. However, this popularity was soon tainted by allegations of deceptive practices.
Airing on Lifetime on Saturday, August 10, at 10:03 PM, directly after the original movie Miss Cleo: Her Rise and Fall, the documentary examines the life of Miss Cleo, exploring her public and private personas. It features interviews with celebrities and those closest to the self-proclaimed voodoo priestess.
The film, produced by Gunpowder & Sky for HBO Max, is directed by Celia Aniskovich and Jennifer Brea. It includes executive producers Van Toffler, Floris Bauer, Barry Barclay, Anne Loder, Jennifer O’Connell, and Lizzie Fox.
