Citytv is gearing up for the highly anticipated Million Dollar Season of Canada’s Got Talent. The talent competition series, set to premiere on Tuesday, March 19 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Citytv, will feature a diverse array of 116 acts from across Canada vying for the chance to win the grand prize.

Among the esteemed judging panel are Howie Mandel, Lilly Singh, Trish Stratus, and Kardinal Offishall. This season’s winner will not only receive an incredible cash prize of $1 million – the largest in Canadian television history – but also financial advice from CIBC.

In addition to the grand prize, every Golden Buzzer recipient will be awarded $25,000 courtesy of CIBC to help them pursue their dreams. Orville Redenbacher, Kruger (Scotties Tissues), and Unilever (Dove and Dove Men + Care) have come on board as premium sponsors for Canada’s Got Talent’s Million Dollar Season alongside returning partners Rogers, CIBC, and Tim Hortons.

This season promises an exciting lineup of wild and unique acts that push boundaries with record-breaking stunts. Some contestants have even traveled abroad to pursue their dreams before returning home to compete on the Canadian stage. Lindsay Ell takes on hosting duties as the show culminates in a live two-hour finale on Tuesday, May 14 at 8 p.m. ET/PT from OLG Stage at Fallsview Casino in Niagara Falls.

Rogers remains committed to investing in premium original Canadian content and nurturing local talent. In fact, last year alone they contributed approximately $950 million towards Canadian content production.

From singers and musicians to dance acts, comedy acts, novelty acts, magic acts, and even animal acts, the roster is as varied as it is impressive. Each act brings their unique skills and personalities to the stage, hoping to captivate both the judges and viewers at home.
