Candace Cameron Bure Stars in Great American Media’s First Mystery Series

Great American Media has announced its first-ever original mystery series, starring Candace Cameron Bure. The series is titled The Ainsley McGregor Mysteries: A Case for the Winemaker and is based on the book of the same name by bestselling novelist Candace Havens.

The series, which will premiere on Thursday July 25 at 9:00 pm, will see Bure take on the role of Ainsley McGregor, a former Chicago criminologist who returns to her hometown of Sweet River, Texas.

The story follows Ainsley as she opens Bless Your Arts, a market for artisans to sell their crafts and wares. However, she soon finds herself drawn back into crime-solving when a murder occurs at a winery owned by her friend. With her friend now accused of the crime, Ainsley’s skills become invaluable to the investigation, despite her brother, the Sweet River Sheriff, wanting her to stay out of it.
