“Sunrise” Stars to Host “Woolworths Carols in the Domain” Saturday 21 December on Channel 7

Royal Carols

Natalie Barr and Matt Shirvington, the familiar faces of “Sunrise,” will guide viewers through the 42nd annual “Woolworths Carols in the Domain” this Christmas season. The beloved Australian tradition, broadcast live from Sydney’s Domain on Saturday, December 21, features an impressive roster of talent for its 2024 edition.

This year’s carols welcomes back family favorites The Wiggles alongside a diverse array of musical performers. Fresh from his victory on “The Voice” 2024, Reuben De Melo will grace the stage, joining established artists such as Samantha Jade, Rhonda Burchmore, Christine Anu, Hugh Sheridan, Conrad Sewell, Mark Vincent, Silvia Colloca, Budjerah, Amy Manford, Jael Wena, Kym Johnson, Chloe Zuel, Jarrod Draper, and Patrick Roberts. Adding a touch of theatrical magic, Cirque Du Soleil is also set to deliver a spectacular performance.

As part of the festive fun, a “Carols Countdown” will unveil Australia’s top 20 favorite Christmas carols, determined by a national poll. 7SPORT presenter Erin Holland and “Sydney Weekender” presenter Candice Dixon will contribute to the evening’s merriment.

The event will also feature the voices of the Australian Girls Choir, Rejoice Gospel Choir, The Salvation Army Choir, and the Carols in the Domain Choir, accompanied by the Sydney Youth Orchestra. And, of course, no Carols in the Domain would be complete without a visit from Santa Claus himself.

“Woolworths Carols in the Domain” airs live on Channel 7 and 7plus at 8:00 PM on Saturday, 21 December, 2024.
