In Hallmark Mystery original film, The Cases of Mystery Lane: Death is Listening, premiering on Friday September 13, married private investigators Birdie (Aimee Garcia) and Alden (Paul Campbell) Case find themselves entangled in a true crime mystery.
Birdie and Alden’s quest to establish themselves as private investigators takes an intriguing turn when popular true crime podcaster Laurel St. James is murdered. The timing of her death is suspicious, as it occurs just moments before she was about to reveal the identity of an infamous serial killer on her podcast. Now, it’s up to the Cases to decipher the clues and solve this perplexing murder.
As they dig into the case, they uncover personal details that could significantly impact their lives. The investigation not only tests their sleuthing abilities but also leads them down a path of self-discovery.
With executive producers Kate Gajdosik, Kim Arnott, Suzanne Arnott, and Michael Shepard, and directed by Mike Rohl, the film is based on characters created by Joel Dovev and Margaux Froley, who also wrote the script for this instalment.
The Cases of Mystery Lane: Death is Listening premieres on Friday, September 13, at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on Hallmark Mystery.
