This week’s Casualty, “Bite the Bullet,” introduces newbie paramedic Indie, who clearly skipped the memo about easing into a job. Her first shift goes sideways faster than a runaway gurney, plunging her into a scenario that’s less “Welcome to the NHS” and more “Abandon all hope, ye who enter here.”
Meanwhile, fan-favorite Faith appears to be channeling a Greek tragedy. Remember Icarus, who flew too close to the sun? Well, swap sun-scorched wings for a messy personal life, and you’ve got Faith’s current predicament. She’s teetering on the brink of losing everything, which, if we’re being honest, is Casualty’s bread and butter. Will she pull herself back from the edge, or will this be the week her carefully constructed life collapses like a poorly built Jenga tower?
And let’s not forget Jodie, who appears to be developing a talent for professional tightrope walking. She’s tiptoeing along the fine line of ethical conduct, and it seems only a matter of time before she takes a tumble into a disciplinary hearing.
