Catherine Tate to Host Doctor Who Prom at the Royal Albert Hall

Actor, comedian, and writer Catherine Tate, known for her role as Donna Noble in “Doctor Who,” will host the highly anticipated Doctor Who Prom at the Royal Albert Hall this year. Tate previously appeared as a surprise guest at the 2008 Doctor Who Prom.

The Doctor Who Prom will be conducted by Alastair King and performed by the BBC National Orchestra of Wales, joined by international star soprano Aida Garifullina and singers Shahid Abbas Khan, Hollie Buhagiar, Lucie Jones, and Tobias Turley, along with the London Philharmonic Choir.

The concert will feature specially arranged pieces from the latest series starring Ncuti Gatwa as the Doctor and Millie Gibson as Ruby Sunday, as well as music from the 60th-anniversary specials and composer Murray Gold’s extensive association with the series. Segun Akinola’s music for Jodie Whittaker’s Thirteenth Doctor will also be included.
