The documentary series Cause of Death returns on Channel 5, looking at the work of senior coroner Dr. James Adeley and his team.
The team respond to two challenging cases. Paramedics are called to the home of an elderly couple, only to discover a tragic scene: the wife is found dead on a stairlift, while the husband lies severely injured at the bottom of the stairs. The circumstances surrounding this incident will undoubtedly be explored further.
Additionally, when an 83-year-old who is known to be fit and active doesn’t turn up for work, his colleagues become concerned. He is later found collapsed in his bathroom, fighting for his life.
