CBS has rolled out its primetime schedule for the 2025-2026 season, aiming to keep its title as the most-watched network for a staggering 17th year straight. The network’s big push includes a mix of new shows and eighteen returning favorites, with some notable names joining the lineup, including a familiar face from the “Yellowstone” universe.

Luke Grimes will reprise his role from the hit Western in “Y: Marshals,” set to air on CBS in the spring. This move ties a major streaming hit back to broadcast and could be a big draw for fans. On the crime front, bestselling author Harlan Coben steps in front of the camera for “Harlan Coben’s Final Twist,” a true-crime series where he leads the investigation.

The network is shaking up its schedule with theme nights. Mondays will stack up the Dick Wolf dramas, with “FBI” and “CIA” leading into the new comedy “DMV.” Tuesdays are now firmly “NCIS” territory, featuring the original series alongside “NCIS: Origins” and “NCIS: Sydney,” giving fans of the procedural plenty to watch.

CBS is also bringing in more reality and competition. Taylor Sheridan, the force behind “Yellowstone,” is an executive producer on “The Road,” a singing competition arriving Sundays this fall with big names like Blake Shelton, Keith Urban, and Gretchen Wilson. And after “Survivor 50” in the spring, Padma Lakshmi takes the host and executive producer reins for “America’s Culinary Cup,” a new cooking challenge.

Fans of CBS dramas will see some returning favorites and new expansions. Donnie Wahlberg is back as Danny Reagan in “Boston Blue,” teaming up with Sonequa Martin-Green as Lena Peters. Plus, the “Fire Country” universe grows with “Sheriff Country,” starring Morena Baccarin as Sheriff Mickey Fox.

Meanwhile, “Einstein,” starring Matthew Gray Gubler, originally planned for this schedule, has been shifted to the 2026-2027 season.
