CBS emerged as the top broadcast network on Wednesday night, attracting 3.79 million viewers. The “Survivor” premiere (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) was the night’s number one program, drawing 4.54 million viewers and leading in both total viewers and the A25-54 demographic.
Live streaming for both “Survivor” and “Big Brother” saw significant increases from last year. “Survivor” live streaming was up by 20% compared to the previous fall premiere on Paramount+ and CBS TVE (CBS.com / CBS app). Similarly, “Big Brother” live streaming also increased by 20% from the same episode last year on the same platforms.
“Big Brother” (10:00-11:00 PM ET/PT) averaged 2.29 million viewers and was the top program in its time slot in both total viewers and the A25-54 demographic.
On social media, “Survivor” garnered over 463 million potential social impressions, nearly four times the impressions of the previous year’s fall debut (118.7 million). The hashtag #Survivor trended in the top 10 in the US on X for nine hours and peaked at number one. “Big Brother” also saw a significant increase in social media engagement, with nearly 189 million potential social impressions, up 52% from the same night last year.
