The reboot of Matlock on CBS has reached an audience of 10.67 million viewers in its first three days of multiplatform viewing, showing a 38% increase from its initial live broadcast numbers of 7.74 million.
This increase solidifies Matlock as CBS’s most-watched series premiere in five years, excluding post-Super Bowl programming. The show’s reach continues to grow with additional streaming on Paramount+ and CBS’s digital platforms, where it is now CBS’s second most-streamed premiere, trailing only Tracker.
The show has also garnered strong critical reception. The next episode is set to air on Thursday, October 17, with encore presentations scheduled in the coming weeks.
Matlock is benefiting from both its linear broadcast on CBS and its availability on Paramount+. The show is produced by CBS Studios.
