CBS Mornings welcomes singer, songwriter, and actor Andra Day, CBS Sports’ lead play-by-play announcer Jim Nantz, lead analyst Tony Romo, lead reporter Tracy Wolfson, and philanthropist, entrepreneur, model, and author Demi-Leigh Tebow to the show.
Day will discuss her role in Lee Daniels’ upcoming film The Deliverance, in which she stars as Ebony Jackson, a single mother struggling with alcoholism while raising three children and caring for her sick mother. The film, inspired by a true story, follows a family plagued by supernatural and demonic occurrences in their new home.
Nantz, Romo, and Wolfson will discuss their roles as the lead broadcast team for CBS’ coverage of the National Football League (NFL). Nantz, a sportscaster with CBS Sports since the 1980s, is known for his penchant for sharing historical facts and statistics during broadcasts. Romo, a former Dallas Cowboys quarterback, joined CBS in 2017 as Nantz’s colour commentator, and Wolfson, a six-time Emmy Award-nominated reporter, was named the NFL on CBS’ lead game reporter in 2014.
Demi-Leigh Tebow will discuss her book, A Crown That Lasts: You Are Not Your Label, which encourages readers to focus on their greater purpose rather than societal expectations and accomplishments. Tebow, a former Miss Universe and Miss South Africa, is an entrepreneur, influencer, and speaker who resides in the United States with her husband, former NFL quarterback Tim Tebow.
CBS Mornings airs Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at 7:00-9:00 AM on CBS.
