On Monday, April 29, CBS Mornings welcomes Drew Barrymore, host of The Drew Barrymore Show, and Mary Claire Haver, author of The New Menopause: Navigating Your Path Through Hormonal Change with Purpose, Power, and Facts. Susie Wolff, managing director of F1 Academy and former professional racing driver, will also be joining the show, along with Justin Hartley, actor in Tracker, and Matt Friend, comedian and actor.
Drew Barrymore, a Hollywood veteran, will be discussing her role as host of The Drew Barrymore Show, which debuted in September 2020. Barrymore is known for her roles in a string of successful films, including Charlie’s Angels, Never Been Kissed, and 50 First Dates. She has received several awards and nominations for her acting, including a Golden Globe Award and a Screen Actors Guild Award. In addition to her acting career, Barrymore has ventured into producing, writing, and business. She is the founder of the production company Flower Films and has launched various product lines under the Flower banner.
Mary Claire Haver, a board-certified OB/GYN, will be discussing her new book, The New Menopause: Navigating Your Path Through Hormonal Change with Purpose, Power, and Facts. The book aims to fill a gap in menopause care by providing women with the information and tools they need to thrive during their hormonal transition. It covers a range of topics, including changes in appearance and sleep patterns, neurological and psychological issues, and the risks associated with the body’s natural drop in estrogen production. Haver is also the founder of Mary Claire Wellness, a private medical practice focusing on women in midlife.
Susie Wolff, a former professional racing driver, will be discussing her current role as managing director of F1 Academy. Wolff started her racing career at a young age and has competed in various championships, including Formula Renault, Formula Three, and Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters (DTM). She became the first woman in 22 years to take part in a Formula One race weekend in 2014. Wolff has also worked as an analyst for Formula One coverage and held leadership roles in Venturi Racing and Formula E.
Justin Hartley, known for his role in the NBC series This Is Us, will be discussing his new show Tracker. Hartley has also appeared in various other television series, including Smallville and Revenge, and has had roles in films such as A Bad Moms Christmas and The Exchange.
Matt Friend, a comedian and actor, will also be joining the show.
