On Thursday, August 15, CBS Mornings welcomes actor Christine Baranski and actor and professional wrestler John Cena to the show.
Baranski, known for her versatility across genres, will discuss her role as Agnes van Rhijn in the HBO period drama “The Gilded Age.” The series, created by Julian Fellowes, is set in 19th-century Manhattan.
Cena has several projects. He will star in the action comedy “Jackpot,” alongside Awkwafina and Simu Liu. In the film, Cena plays Noel, a jackpot protector who agrees to safeguard a lottery winner named Katie (Awkwafina). Cena is also set to appear in “Coyote vs. ACME,” a live-action/animation hybrid movie based on the Warner Bros. cartoon. He will portray a lawyer sparring in court with Wile E. Coyote’s attorney (Will Forte).
