On Wednesday morning, CBS Mornings will feature Colin Kaepernick and Nessa Diab, co-authors of We Are Free, You and Me. The two will discuss their new book and share insights on its creation.

Also, television cook and author Ina Garten will join the program to talk about her memoir, Be Ready When the Luck Happens: A Memoir.

Amanda Rice, founder of The Chick Mission, will round out the guest list, bringing attention to her nonprofit work.

On Thursday, October 3, CBS Mornings will feature singer-songwriter Charlie Puth, who will talk about his upcoming show, The Charlie Puth Show. Mellody Hobson, president and co-CEO of Ariel Investments, will be a guest for a discussion about her new book, Priceless Facts about Money. The episode will also feature the fourth part of The State of Spirituality with Lisa Ling.

Friday, October 4, will feature veteran journalist Chris Wallace, who will share his insights on his latest work, Countdown 1960: The Behind-the-Scenes Story of the 312 Days That Changed America’s Politics Forever. Sarah Gelman, editorial director at Amazon Books, will also appear to provide recommendations for Hispanic Heritage Month.
