On Monday, CBS Mornings welcomes singer and actress Jennifer Hudson, director and actor John Krasinski, California Governor Gavin Newsom, and author Harlan Coben to the show.

Jennifer Hudson, a singer and actress, joins the show to discuss her daytime talk show, “The Jennifer Hudson Show.” Hudson, who rose to fame as a finalist on “American Idol”, has since built a successful career, starring in films such as “Dreamgirls” and “Respect.” She also serves as a coach on “The Voice.”

John Krasinski, an actor, writer, and director, visits the show to promote his upcoming film, “IF,” in which he stars alongside Ryan Reynolds. The film follows a young girl who gains the ability to see imaginary friends. Krasinski is known for his roles in “The Office” and “Jack Ryan.”

Governor Gavin Newsom, a member of the Democratic Party, has served as the 40th governor of California since 2019. He previously served as the 49th lieutenant governor of California from 2011 to 2019 and as the 42nd mayor of San Francisco from 2004 to 2011. Newsom is expected to discuss his political career and various initiatives he has implemented during his time in office.

Harlan Coben, a bestselling author, is known for his mystery and thriller novels. His latest book, “Think Twice,” centers on sports agent Myron Bolitar, who is drawn into a web of secrets and conspiracies when his former client, presumed dead, becomes a suspect in a double homicide. Coben’s novels have been adapted into several Netflix series, including “The Stranger,” “The Innocent,” and “Stay Close.”
