On Tuesday, June 18, 2024, CBS Mornings welcomes Joseph Gordon-Levitt, who will discuss his role in the upcoming film “Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F,” and Dr. Anthony Fauci, who will talk about his memoir, “On Call: A Doctor’s Journey in Public Service.”

Joseph Gordon-Levitt, known for his roles in films such as “Inception” and “The Dark Knight Rises,” joins the show to discuss his latest part as Detective Bobby Abbott in “Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F.”

The film, which premieres on Netflix on July 3, is the fourth installment of the iconic “Beverly Hills Cop” franchise and sees the return of Eddie Murphy as Axel Foley, alongside a host of familiar and new characters. Gordon-Levitt’s character is described as a serious Beverly Hills detective with a fun side, adding a new dynamic to the partnership with Axel.

Dr. Anthony Fauci, America’s most revered doctor, will discuss his memoir, which reflects on his six-decade career in high-level public service. Fauci, who served as the Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases for nearly 40 years and was President Joe Biden’s Chief Medical Advisor until his retirement in 2022, has played a crucial role in navigating global epidemics, including HIV/AIDS, COVID-19, Ebola, SARS, and anthrax.

His memoir, “On Call,” offers a behind-the-scenes look at his journey, from his boyhood in Brooklyn to advising seven presidents.
