On Friday, June 21, 2024, CBS Mornings welcomes Joseph Quinn, an actor known for his roles in “Stranger Things” and “A Quiet Place: Day One,” professional skateboarder Judi Oyama, childhood cancer advocates Liz and Jay Scott from Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation, and writer, speaker, and entrepreneur Marisa Renee Lee.

Joseph Quinn is an actor who rose to prominence with his role as Eddie Munson in the popular series “Stranger Things.” Born in 1994, Quinn has also appeared in “Overload” and “Dickensian.” He will discuss his latest film, “A Quiet Place: Day One.”

Judi Oyama is an American professional skateboarder who excelled in slalom and downhill skateboarding. She began skateboarding at the age of 13 and later competed professionally, becoming the Women’s Slalom World Skateboard Champion in 2003. Oyama is one of the few Asian-American women in professional skateboarding and was inducted into the Skateboarding Hall of Fame in 2018. She is also a graphic designer and the former Art Director at Giro.

Liz and Jay Scott are the co-executive directors of Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation, an organization dedicated to fighting childhood cancer. The foundation was established in 2005, inspired by Alexandra Scott, who passed away from cancer. The organization has raised over $120 million for research and support for families affected by childhood cancer.

Marisa Renee Lee is a writer, speaker, and entrepreneur. Her writing has appeared in Vogue, The Atlantic, and Glamour. She is also the founder of Beacon Advisors, a social impact consulting firm. Lee’s work is influenced by her experiences as a caretaker for her mother, who passed away from breast cancer, and her personal battles with infertility and pregnancy loss.
